The Language Center offers placement tests during the first week of each semester to assess students' existing language skills and recommend appropriate courses.

New students in the summer semester 2026, i.e. students who are enrolled for the first time on 01.04.2026 in the Bachelor's programme in Business Economics 180 LP at MLU or students who can prove that they were on a semester break in the winter semester 2025/2026 (proof by means of a certificate of enrolment):

• Language Centre announcement of available places in language courses: 13.04.2026

The announcement of available places in language modules in the 2026 summer semester will be made here.

• Notification of students' course selection for language modules to the Examination Office in accordance with available places at the Language Centre: from 13.04.2026 until 10 a.m. on 24.04.2026 at the latest (final deadline)

If the number of students exceeds the number of available places in the desired language, a lottery procedure will be held. Students may then have to switch to another language course if necessary.

• Course registration Stud.IP: Students will be manually added to the first session in Stud.IP by the lecturer after notification from the Examination Office.

• Module registration Löwenportal: from 24.03.2026 to 21.04.2026
