Overview

Important Hint for submission of the thesis onside

Due to current circumstances, we would like to point out once again that the regular submission (on site) of the final papers must take place during the opening hours of the examination office (Tues. and Thurs. 09:00-11:30).

Exceptions to this are only possible with prior notification of alternative submission options (in connection with examination incapacity).

Submission by post is not affected by this.

If you wish to submit your thesis earlier, this must also be done during the opening hours.

Procedure and Requirement for the Preparation of the Thesis

The general requirement for admission to the thesis (in the Bachelor's degree programme) is prior participation in the allocation procedure. Without corresponding assignment to a supervising department or lecturer, it is not possible to process the Bachelor's thesis.

This procedure regulates and distributes the supervision of students in the B.Sc. Business Studies, Economics, BusinessEconomics and Economics and Management 120 among the various chairs/lecturers and takes place once a year. You can find more information on this in the LionPortal under the corresponding tab.

There is an independent procedure for students of the B.Sc. Business Information Systems. Information on this can be obtained from the chair "Business Information Management" or in StudIP in the course "Abschlussarbeiten in der Wirtschaftsinformatik".

Students of the M.Sc. degree programmes do not have to participate in any allocation procedure.

In addition to the obligatory participation in the allocation procedure (for B.Sc.), a minimum amount of credit points - at the time of registration for the examination performance - is required for the registration for the final module. You can find the required scope in your study and examination regulations.
